Shield Users publishes comparisons and practical guidance for teams protecting user journeys. James Whitaker is the named author. Our methodology sets out the questions used to examine a product’s scope and integration requirements.
Evidence and editorial judgment
A product fact should identify the product or plan it applies to and link to supporting documentation. A statement about buyer fit is an editorial interpretation of those facts. We avoid turning a vendor’s product figure into a measurement performed by this publication.
Coverage, prices and plan terms can change. Each review carries a source-review date. A document read on that date may later change; the date is a useful boundary for evaluating the information, not a promise of permanent accuracy.
Promotions and product links
The home page includes a ShieldLabs welcome offer using the SHIELDUSERS promotional code. Its registration link opens the provider’s website with the code in the URL. The displayed offer is 50,000 bonus identifications in addition to the standard 5,000, for a total of 55,000 for eligible new accounts. The provider applies the bonus and operates the registration and account service.
Promotional links are identified as offers. The coverage matrix and product reviews describe the products using the published evaluation questions. Questions about a commercial link can be sent to partnerships@shieldusers.com.
Editor’s Choice
The Editor’s Choice designation describes the product we recommend considering first for the stated use case. It is separate from a user review, an external certification and a laboratory accuracy result. The selected product’s review explains the relevant capabilities and limitations, while the alternatives page covers other integration needs.
Factual corrections
Send corrections to editor@shieldusers.com with the page URL, disputed passage and a current primary source. For pricing, specify the billing term, allowance, unit and included features. For a technical field, specify the product, platform and documented version.
We compare the submitted evidence with the page and correct supported factual errors. An update can change a product description without changing the overall buyer recommendation, or change both where the evidence warrants it. Substantive updates carry an updated page date.
